Orchestras
An exciting innovation in musical
instrument ownership
Mifco
leasing & financing was established to bring
musicians together with the instruments they need and deserve.
We provide modern-day financing solutions with a traditional
sense of service, quality, integrity, and meticulous attention
to our customers’ needs.
We understand musical instruments and what they mean to their
owners and users. To this understanding we add our financial
expertise to develop individually tailored packages for our
clients, giving them access to a range and quality of
instruments previously beyond their reach. We strive to make
accessible any make and model of any type of instrument your
organisation requires.
Innovative Financing solutions that
will transform your organisation
The purpose of leasing is to reduce the cost of acquiring and
running a professional-grade instrument fleet.
We provide financing solutions to our clients with limitless
benefits. Imagine having fleets of orchestral percussion, harps
and pianos in your enterprise that are never more than 5 years
old or being able to afford the best brands of instruments and
the competitive edge this will give your organisation.
With world-class facilities your institution will command an
outstanding profile among students, teachers, and performers
alike.
Furthermore,
our leasing services remove the risk and burden of obsolescence,
dilapidation, repairs, servicing, and maintenance of instruments
from our clients who are left only to enjoy the artistic
benefits.
Our service revolutionises client access and affordability to
the best music facilities.
Instruments are built to last a lifetime, however most provide
their best artistic performance in the earliest years. By
upgrading fleets with newer instruments, our leasing schemes
remove the burden and cost of running an old fleet – our clients
only pay for the benefit they gain from their instruments in the
first few years and not
the lifetime cost.
Following a consultation, we will design a scheme that uniquely
meets your requirements. No detail is omitted – from payment
schedules to upgrades and maintenance, everything about the
package is tailored to suit your unique needs.
Our range of services
Our financing services are designed to give our clients the
freedom to offer the professional facilities they deserve – not
what they believe they can afford. Whether it’s financing
instruments, buildings, or any other aspect of your institution
we can design a solution.
Managed Services
A full-service leasing package whereby we supply and maintain a
fleet of professional-grade instruments specially designed to
meet your exact requirements. This service also provides the
option of “always new” instrument renewals and upgrades.
Finance Leases
Finance-only packages with flexible repayment profiles designed
around your budget, for you to acquire instruments and
facilities.
Leaseback Service
We will acquire your existing instruments from you and
immediately lease them back to you. This can be used in
conjunction with either of the aforementioned services, or as a
stand-alone service in its own right. Leaseback enables you to
release the capital in your existing instruments to finance new
initiatives or the expansion of existing facilities.
Loans and Enterprise Financing
Financing solutions to assist you with funding new initiatives.
For example, the building or refurbishment of a new music block,
concert hall, or hall of residence. Larger schemes may involve
the purchasing of a competitors business or its assets.
Soft funding services
Services to assist students fund their education or to help you
attract new income. For example, instrument sales through
associate retailers which offer your students exclusive
discounts whilst also earning your institution a commission on
these sales.

Our Specialist Expertise
Finance
Mifco leasing & financing Ltd offers clients the benefit of many years
of financial expertise. Our service begins with understanding our clients’ needs
and then developing a bespoke financing solution. Our aim is to work with our
clients to achieve their ideal instrument fleet. We understand musical
instruments so well, and in particular their re-sale value after five years of
service, that we’re prepared to share much of the purchase costs with our
clients resulting in them only having to pay a fraction of the instruments’
overall value. Indeed, our clients are delighted at the stepped improvements our
lease services deliver to their musical facilities not least of all because of
our “always new” upgrade options that allow instruments to be replaced every
five years or so without increases to costs.
Procurement
Integral to our fleet financing services is our ability to purchase instruments,
for our clients, through our strategic relationships with manufacturers of all
brands, types and models. By combining all of our clients’ needs, we achieve
maximum purchase power ensuring best value at all times whilst our commercial
best-practices serve to shield clients from the risks often associated with high
value spending on expensive instruments. Thereafter our maintenance services
ensure that client instruments perform to their exacting standards all of the
time.
Planning & Logistics
Dedicated project managers work with clients to ensure their new instrument
fleets are delivered safely and on time, irrespective of the size of fleet
involved. Working in consultation with our clients, the project manager will
produce written plans and drawings to ensure the smooth installation of your
musical instruments and facilities. Liaising with local authorities, estate
managers, and other project stakeholders, we ensure a flawless installation
process.
